Did you mean:

Can livesearch be given a list of 2 or more spaces to search, as opposed to 1 or all spaces?

I know you can limit a live search to one space, as opposed to all spaces. But can you give it a list of a few spaces instead of 1 or all? I tried delimiting the list of spaces I want searched with commas and it didn't seem to work.

We have our own space and some related spaces, I dont want to search all spaces.

Hello Michael and welcome to the Community!

It sounds like you have an excellent grasp and understanding of the Livesearch macro within Confluence. Currently, the macro only allows for restricting of a single space. The documentation refers to the following:

Specify a space key to limit the search to the given space. Case-sensitive.

Meaning it is worded as singular and not plural. You can’t add more than one.

The good news is you’re not alone on this request. There is a feature request to allow you to specify more than one space within the macro. You can find more about the feature request at CONFSERVER-37239 (for server) and CONFCLOUD-37239 (for cloud). If this feature request matches your requirements then please vote and watch the request to receive future updates on its status.

I hope this clarifies the capabilities of the Livesearch Macro along with feature requests to improve upon the macro.

Regards,
Stephen Sifers
