Can confluence in the cloud allow search within other sites?

We are looking to use a Confluence Cloud Intranet, but wish to use the search criteria to look inside other specific and agreed Cloud based knowledge sites rather than just Confluence itself.

Is this possible?

Mark, currently this is not possible natively for both Confluence Cloud and Confluence Server. There was a feature request for this a long time ago, but it was closed:

CONFCLOUD-1436 | Allow indexing of content outside of Confluence

Confluence is not able to index external sources with the native search. However, there is a third-party solution for Confluence Server that seems to be able to do just that:

But again, this is not available for Confluence Cloud and Confluence does not have the ability to index external sources.
