Can anyone help me understand error message http Status 500 what it is and how to fix?

HELP!  The below is the error message I get.  I cannot get any work complete unless this is fixed.  How do I do that?

Its' your Database and it's connectivity issue.

Thank you for the quick response!  Apologies for being completely out of my league - but what exactly does that mean?  Is it something my team and I need to fix on our end or is it an issue that Atlassian should handle?

Is your confluence on CLOUD or hosted in your organization ?

To make it simpler - can you tell me what url do you use to access confluence. 

Does it have something like .

..atlassian.net at the end ?
