I am trying to embed a Vimeo showcase into a confluence article using the widget connector. Vimeo Showcases, essentially, are just videos grouped together in one link. The videos are not private & I have granted vimeo access to embed the content on my jira site. However, when I enter the URL into the widget connector I get this error:
I am able to embed single videos into the widget connector from vimeo, just not showcases. Should I be able to embed showcases from Vimeo to jira?
this was almost year ago, has there been any updates, is it possible now?
Hi Hendrik,
Welcome to Atlassian Community, and thanks for bringing up the topic again!
Honestly Vimeo might know which methods work best, but it appears you could embed using an iFrame:
It’s possible to embed iFrames into Confluence, but whether or not the target website works depends on the host. In this case, that’s Vimeo. Iwould recommend giving it a try using the Confluence iFrame macro. If you end up getting any specific error messages, we can have a look.
Take care,
Shannon

Hello Paige,
Thank you for contacting us about this. Happy to help.
I'm not sure Confluence supports Vimeo Showcases yet; were you ever able to embed a Showcase in Confluence that contains only public videos? Would you be able to try that just to confirm the feature works? If it does not, then I can raise a feature request to include embedding of Vimeo Showcases in Confluence.
For your final question:
Should I be able to embed showcases from Vimeo to Jira?
Can you confirm if you're referring to Confluence here? I'm not as familiar with Jira so I can't say for sure if it's possible to embed Showcases in Jira.
Regards,
Shannon
