Can Multiexcerpt plugin pull a UI Expand macro?

Is it possible to pull a UI Expand macro with text into another page using the multiexcerpt / multiexcerpt include functionality? It seems as though the UI Expand macro is breaking the functionality -- is there a work around for this? FYI on the Cloud based instance of Confluence.
