I have a JIRA Project with Project Roles: Level1, Level2, and Level3; each having a few users in them.  I can edit the permission scheme to control access to the project based on these roles.  I need to be able to control access to the linked Confluence space through these roles as well.  But I cannot seem to find out how.

NOTE: I will eventually need this same control in BitBucket but I am not there yet.  So if someone know the answer to that prematurely I would appreciate it.

No, roles are only implemented on JIRA so far.  The other systems have less complex access requirements and haven't needed roles added to them.
