Can I turn a picture into a hyperlink to a child page from the homepage?

I am creating a homepage with 5 child pages. Rather than creating text links, I have created graphics to serve as "buttons" that would ultimately link to each child page. Is there a way to do this? Every time I highlight the image and paste the page link into the text box, the image disappears.

@repi thanks! I just found out image as a link is not supported on the new editor, there´s a ticket to bring the feature back here

Click image in edit mode and choose link.

Possible in the server as well as cloud version and similar in handling.

I've done that, and that's when the picture disappears.

Select weblink for extern.

For internal pages, choose search and insert the page of your choice.
