Can I stop characters from converting to icons?

hi, all.

I'm uploading a Word file that contains (i) in the content. Confluenece is changing this to a circle with an 'i' in the center, which makes sense in some situations. Is there a way for me to keep my (i)? It goes along with (ii) and (iii). They get a bit lost without their leader. ;-)

If you use \(i) instead of (i) it should be shown correctly. For this you could do a search and replace in your Word file.
