I am using Confluence like an internal wiki. We have senior people creating pages. I would like to set the permissions so that the other users are able to view and comment but not create or edit pages. Is this possible?
The "Pages" Space Permission is what controls the ability to Create and Edit pages. so you will need to allow only the "senior people" that need to create and edit to have this permission.
Everyone else should have (only) "View" and the appropriate "Comments" and "Attachments" permission that you require. Senior people will need these perms as well.
