Can I limit the sidebar search to current space only? Even after a search?

I want to limit what my search results show to the current space only. The reasoning is we need to limit our users to the current version of the space.

I want to remove the ability to switch spaces or search all spaces and I want the search sidebar to be limited to the current space.

I believe so. I'm not sure what you mean about the search sidebar, but if you go into edit a page and you clock on the macro you can see Search Options. Just change the "Restrict to this Space Key" to the key of your Knowledge Base or Space.

Here you can see my Livemacro

{livesearch:spaceKey=@self|size=medium|placeholder=Search this space}

So this will initially only search the current space @self. But after you search you can see this screen:

 

You can just "X" out of the space and then search anywhere in the instance.

Any Ideas?
