Can I limit access to confluence public space for single group

I have public space where all confluence-users has access to add/edit pages, comments etc. I need to limit some privileges for single group i.e. intern where member can read but not edit pages.

It is possible with current confluence-users or I have to add new group where all members (excluding intern) will be present? I tried remove group confluence-users from members intern group but then they lose access to confluence.

Hi @Krzysztof Lewczuk ,

I would not grant the editing permission to confluence-users but do the following:

• create two new groups: interns and members
• add your interns to the interns group and all the others to the members group
• change your permissions:
  • remove the confluence-users from the space permissions
  • add members to the space permissions as you used the confluence-users before
  • add interns to the space permissions with read-only permissions
