Can I change the order of rows in a CCMA user-mapping.csv file?
Hi @AndyFrith
Welcome to the community.
Based on how Cloud migration apps work, I would take the risk and use it as Atlassian provides it.
Hello and Welcome to Atlassian Community @AndyFrith
Row order itself shouldn't matter for the migration assistant, but you still want to be careful with the CSV structure. Assistant maps users by their identifiers, so reordering rows won't break the mapping, but changing headers, columns, or character encoding definitely can.🫠
Make sure to keep an untouched copy of the original export as a fallback, make your edits, and run the file through the assistant's validator to be safe.
We can´t pull you from a little "Playground" but be sure you have a fallback.
Best,
Arek🤠
