Can I change an export so I get fewer widows and orphans when I create a pdf?

I am attempting to export space content to a pdf and the resulting pdf has many widows and orphans (headings at the bottom of the page and content for the heading on the next page. Is there a way to use the pdf stylesheets or anything so this doesn't happen?
