Hi - I want email notifications to be sent when pages are updated - Except for certain pages - We have some confidential pages and when these are changed users receive an email alert showing the contents of the whole page - Can we turn off email notifications at the page level rather than the user level ?

a solution may be - get the people to uncheck 'Notify watchers' box until they have finished all changes and really want to inform everyone. If you're using Server Version there are also different addons that may help: Like this or that.
But what also is important - users have to make their own settings for email notifications they want to receive.
