Can Confluence update Jira fields

Smartsheet had a connector so you could update a field in Smartsheet and it could update a Jira field and vice versa in both directions. I know Jira and Confluence have built-in functions to create tickets, pull reports, etc. But do you know if I can add one or more specific fields in Confluence, and it would update that field in Jira tickets and vice versa bi-directionally?

Interesting, but not exactly what I am looking for. I want to update a field in Confluence, and it pushes the update to Jira. Thank you.
