Calendar plugin is working fine in confluence 5.4.1 now, how?

Deleted user December 3, 2014

5 months ago, when I upgraded confluence 3.4.9 to 5.4.1, the page containing Calendar, was not working and we upgraded to Team Calendar plugin but, today when I again upgraded it in my local following the same path i.e. 3.4.9 > 3.5.17 > 5.0.3 > 5.4.1, the calendar plugin is working fine. Does it mean 5.4.1 now support calendar plugin and we do not require Team Calendar?

Hi Shelly,

That's a strange behavior for sure. I can confirm that the calendar plugin is not supported and was deprecated after 3.4.x Confluence.

I recommend to disable and remove the calendar plugin to avoid corrupting Confluence and install Team calendar which is supported for the newer versions of confluence.

Cheers,

Rodrigo
