Azure Deployment - vmssTemplate InvalidTemplateDeployment

Nicholas Ruiz June 12, 2019

When trying to deploy either Confluence Data Server or Jira Server on Azure, I get the following error with the vmssTemplate:

The template deployment 'vmssTemplate' is not valid according to the validation procedure...

Operation results in exceeding quota limits of Core. Maximum allowed: 4, Current in use: 1, Additional requested: 8. Please read more about quota increase at https://aka.ms/ProdportalCRP/?#create/Microsoft.Support/Parameters/{\\\"subId\\\":\\\"2c023fcf-71f1-4be6-8fcb-1aa57d8e54f6\\\",\\\"pesId\\\":\\\"15621\\\",\\\"supportTopicId\\\":\\\"32447243\\\"}

 I am using the deployment templates in the Bitbucket repository with vanilla settings:
https://bitbucket.org/atlassian/atlassian-azure-deployment/src/master/?_ga=2.228842335.2111649861.1560264078-1599743274.1559136183

I have the same problem when using the templates stored in the Azure Marketplace.

Any ideas why this may be happening? Thanks!

Hello Nick,

It looks like your request has made it to support and they’re currently working with you on the issue. I would suggest working with the support team via your support request to have your issue resolved. Once your support request is resolved please feel free to share the fix as others would be interested to see what was done to resolve the issue which will help to avoid complications when deploying within Azure.

If you need anything else from Community please let us know.

Regards,

Stephen Sifers
