I would like to use databases to always have an up-to-date list of specific pages (either filtered by child pages or by labels) in one place. However, as far as I know, this can only be achieved by always starting page creation from the DB (or manually adding the links in the DB). Is that correct, or am I overlooking a function that allows the database to update automatically?
Is there any other way to use automation to ensure that the database is always up-to-date? For example, when a page is published in a specific section or with a specific label, add the page link to the database. Or reimport the database.
Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find anything on this.
Welcome to Atlassian community!
I understand that you are looking for a more dynamic list of pages in confluence databases.
Unfortunately, the dynamic update of the pages in databases is not yet available and we are tracking the same through the suggestion request that we raised below with our DEV team:
As per Atlassian Policy, these request will be evaluated by our product team in the near future. Please note that the product roadmap is guided by several factors, including customer feedback, product analytics, and long-term strategic goals. I would encourage you to vote and comment on the requests with your specific requirements and impact. This feedback helps our product team to understand the demand and prioritize accordingly. You can monitor the progress of the FR by watching the tickets.
Hope this helps!
