Automating page creation in confluence and sharing the page in Teams channel

We have a repetitive task, we create a new page under parent every Friday. The content of the page is same all the week. Then we share with our team members via Teams channel for them to update. I am planning to automate this weekly task. I need help to build this automation task. Is there any build in feature in Atlassian application do this? or should I depend on external automation tools?

Hi @Aswanth Ravikumar ,

If you have any upcoming plans for migrating to Jira/Confluence Cloud, you might want to hold off, as the ability to create a page in Confluence is there natively in Jira Automation ;-)

If you don't intend to move, I think your best bet would be to use the Confluence APIs to create pages per your request. You should be able to accomplish that using the web request action where you'll be able to send calls to APIs. 

Then, the 'send message in Teams channel' is a natively present action in Jira DC (at least in my test version 9.12)!
