Hi,

We have created a page in our team which consists of a list of Expand macros containing name/phone number/artifacts worked on.

We use the search macros to search for the individual artifact names contained within the Expand macros.

Clicking on the search results lead to opening the webpage, but the content that we are looking for is inside "Expand" macros, which remain collapsed.

Is there a way to make clicking on search results expands the Macros (Expand) automatically?

Hi Saravdeep,

There is not a way to do this with the Expand macro. We had a feature request for this, but it doesn't appear that it will be considered:

Another user on the thread has found a workaround, and it's mentioned here:

Have a look there and do let me know if you have any questions.

Shannon

Thank you, Shanon.

I have used amna's solution from the page Solved: How to create an "Expand All" button for Confluence ,

This allows us to expand all Expand macros and then perform an in-page text search.

Saravdeep
