Authentication: same account name but different domain

Simona
May 20, 2015

I have two users directories set in my environmente that are connected to two different Active Directories, that are trusted.
So we have users in two different domain : @domainA and @domainB
The question is: it is possible to have two users whith the same SAMAaccountname but different domain (i.e. persico@domainA and persico@domainB)? Or is it a problem? Can I force users to insert also their domain when they want to authenticate themselves?
Thank you!
Simona

I'm having this same issue. Two LDAP directories in Confluence and two users (one in each) with the same AD name. It's merging their names and account info into one profile.
