Previous version of Confluence, we were able to upload a file unto the attachments macro then using the arrow to expand, clicking into "edit" which would then open the excel file as a program on your computer, make changes and save back to the Confluence without needing to re-upload and more importantly maintaining the integrity of version history. Has this feature been disabled? we are not able to update our attachments

Hi @Sholeh Tareh

First of all welcome to the community!

Let's talk about confluence version, do you know which type of confluence you are using? Is it Cloud or Server? You can check: Is there a version number on any confluence page at the botton, like this:

If so, you are using confluence server.

For confluence server, there is a new app called "Atlassian Companion". Here's a documentation how to install and use it. With the newer versions of confluence, you have to use this for editing documents.

Let me know if any of this helped.

Regards, Dominic
