Attachments that had previously been uploaded to our Confluence instance are no longer accessible as we receive an attachment file not found error.

Both of our application nodes have access to the same shared home directory, and that is the path that Confluence uses to save attachments yet we still receive the error for some reason.

Any assistance is much appreciated.

Connor,

Since you have verified Confluence has read and write access to its home directory. The next step would be to follow Atlassian's guide to resolve missing attachments in Confluence.  https://confluence.atlassian.com/confkb/how-to-resolve-missing-attachments-in-confluence-201761.html

@Connor Mainwaring Quick gotcha alert - I understand if you export the query as comma separated instead of tab separated you will have a bad time:

Using your database tools, export the results of this query as a tab separated file. Ensure that your file does not include the header names.
