I've asked an admin to enable a product that is in the beta stage, and the security team wants to know if it properly security tested, or does it have less assurance because it is in beta.
Is there a link I can go to that answers what question.
The product im looking at is whiteboard, but it applies more generally.
Hi @Daniel Park
Atlassian's Trust Center has quite extensive documentation on security in general - https://www.atlassian.com/trust
For betas, these are products applied on customer instances, so they'll have gone through a level of rigour up to that point. Atlassian usually mentions what EAP, alpha, or beta access means which is different to general access as part of switching on such features.

EG for Whiteboards it states...
Things to know:
- Once enabled, it may take a few minutes for whiteboards to roll out across all spaces
- There will be a short onboarding flow to introduce whiteboards for all users
- Once enabled, Whiteboards cannot be disabled for your site during the beta period
- However, space admins manage who can create and edit whiteboards within their space
- Certain Confluence features such as Data Residency and Backup and Restore will not be supported for whiteboards during the beta period. For more information see the FAQ on this page.
- Certain third party apps may be impacted when whiteboards are added in a space. Our team is working to resolve known issues. For updates on affected apps, please see this page.
By enabling whiteboards, you acknowledge the Atlassian Privacy Policy and agree that use of whiteboards is governed by the applicable sections governing free or beta products in the Atlassian Cloud Terms of Service (or if, applicable, your written agreement with Atlassian governing your use of the Cloud Products), and are subject to applicable terms, conditions, and disclaimers.

I'd contact Atlassian Support if you have more specific questions, so they can provide an official response :)

I could ask them, I was hoping there was something in the FAQ that speaks specifically about security. I'm not an admin so cannot raise a ticket myself and the admins may not priorities my question.

Hi @Daniel Park
The text above is printed on the beta page you activate Whiteboards from. That links to multiple locations which talk about security-related information.
Aside from this, more specific questions will need to go via your Admins.
