Are drafts secret

This question is in reference to Atlassian Documentation: Drafts

I'm currently preparing several existing Pages on our Confluence with new information which is not to be published until a set date. Can I be sure of the fact that these Drafts are unavailable for other users to see until they are published?

As far as I know, drafts are only visible to that specific user that has started editing that particular content, and it definitely does not show to other users before being saved.
