Any plans to add layers to Whiteboard?

I'd like to consolidate the project diagrams to confluence whiteboards, but it doesn't seem to have the ability to create layers. Is this something that is on the roadmap? Thanks!

We don’t have the ability to create layers and we have to wait for this feature from Atlassian, I believe there are few discussions on this topic in the community and you can add your feedback / ideas to the product team.
