Hello is it possible to Answer on Notifications of a new Site? I want that the author get a mail if im answer on a confluence notification.
A workaround is that I customise the notifaction. In every notification could be a hyperlink with $fullname@ourdomain.de .
Best regards
Benjamin Rommel
Benjamin,
I'm not quite clear on what it is you are looking to do. In summary, you want that if someone replies to a Confluence notification email, the message gets sent privately to the author of the change?

Benjamin,
If you're on Server, you can configure it below:
You can personalize email notifications by configuring the 'From' field to include the name and email address of the Confluence user who made the change.
You need System Administrator permissions in order to configure Confluence's email server settings.
Can you give that a try and let me know how it goes?

Benjamin,
This setting allows you to set the "from" address to the person who triggered the notification. That way, anyone who receives a notification can reply to it and it will go straight to the desired recipient.
If this is not what you want, please let me know what you need to do.
In order to add a link to the notification template, you can do so by modifying the default template:
Please be aware that if you go this route, you are modifying system files so it's always best to make a backup and make sure you only edit if you are comfortable with editing source code.

Its only possible to set a global from address. Its always the same senderadress? I want to contact the author.

Hi Benjamin,
Apologies; the article stated that you can change the From field to show the name and the address of the person replying, which you can indeed do using variables in the From Name field.
However, it's not possible to reply directly to that user, according to this feature request:
My recommendation would be to set up a rule in your email host, such as to send any replies to the email listed in the FROM NAME field. Check with your email server admin for more details.
In order to see the feature included with Confluence natively, please vote on the above request and comment there with your usage case.
Thank you for your understanding!
Regards,
Shannon
