Hello,

I'm the Atlassian products admin for my company, and we'd like to set up a new Space so external users can sign in / log in to it without using any licenses and access the content.

I'm kinda new to this, so I'd greatly appreciate your help for any approach you can think of.

Confluence plugins are also an option, if they fulfill our requirements.

The general idea is building 2 spaces: One as a public KB (this one's easy enough), and a restricted space for partners.

Also, is there any way to export/import users from an external DB and import them as unlicensed Confluence users?

Many thanks!

Hi @IT support ,

I wanted to add that if you are using Jira then you can refer the following KB to understand how you can setup users from Jira.

If the intension is to give confluence access to public then read the below article.

Thanks,

Srinath T
