Hi there. We're using:
I followed the instructions https://confluence.atlassian.com/confkb/how-to-add-a-jira-kanban-board-to-a-confluence-page-959798689.html to add the Agile Wallboard Gadget macro to our Confluence. It didn't seem to be loading at all so I turned on a console window and captured this error:
Mixed Content: The page at 'https://confluence.bancvue.com/pages/editpage.action?pageId=66652914' was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure resource 'http://confluence.bancvue.com/plugins/servlet/gadgets/ifr?container=atlassian&mid=4363870404608&country=GB&lang=en&view=default&view-params=%7B%22writable%22%3A%22true%22%7D&st=atlassian%3AuV8Ir%2F9Xu5a%2FMEknfmNYqq503BCoAZt%2FrIq7%2Blr5XqVPb2%2B1IFzvVOwMYP7ilNN7TA9%2FbwzsvuCVCLFFIYGFc2vtAoCobySxRxbQN69Ci4J4SwzibqC1pf%2BivNJZ4e9cCTQtzTjy2rMDqgkJGLQqJK%2Fan57nQqOv7HeGmz9u3KpjFGGpHyV5FZTg1E8IHTT4D3Q%2Fk466wQnXCQzCjA%2Fl9QdTDlTjnh6AhaSi%2Fw3i6yexWJvGPXmYSBN9%2F%2BLORYmESO2lPIQstpEL3YrEpjvkmMZjXWWJeyT2pCj4EChJahSCkrRKE18S%2BJ6FcSBhgdagPXGpLihx0tbGjPeCB91C5XDEUcs8ttQhM6B5JxsUH%2BNtNzP%2F&up_isConfigured=false&up_rapidViewId=&up_showRapidViewName=false&up_quickFilters=&up_showQuickFilterNames=false&up_refresh=false&url=https%3A%2F%2Fjira.bancvue.com%2Frest%2Fgadgets%2F1.0%2Fg%2Fcom.pyxis.greenhopper.jira%3Agreenhopper-gadget-rapid-view%2Fgadgets%2Fgreenhopper-rapid-view.xml&libs=auth-refresh#rpctoken=1820213322'. This request has been blocked; the content must be served over HTTPS.
Any suggestions on how to fix this? We will be upgrading confluence "soon". If that's the fix, so be it.
Thanks!
- Christa
Hi Christa!
I'm glad to hear you're upgrading soon, as we released security advisories recently about the version of Confluence you currently have running.
As for the error, it looks like Confluence (or at least the gadget) is trying to load itself over HTTP even though you're accessing it via HTTPS. The most common cause of this is the base URL setting in Confluence having http in the front instead of https. You can double-check this value by going to the System Information page in administration. We've got a more detailed how-to if the System Information page doesn't sound familiar.
Give that a double-check and let me know how it goes!
Cheers,
Daniel
