Hi. On a Windows Server installation with a MS SQL database I did an upgrade from 6.15.10 to 7.6.1. The upgrade went fine, but after the upgrade I can no longer access the external site https://mysite.com/ from a web browser. I can access it on the server from http://localhost correctly. I checked the Server Base URL and it is still correct to my external public DNS name https://mysite.com
Any ideas what I missed or what I need to change to access it?
Hi Lyle,
My gut says that the upgrade blew your SSL configuration away. Was SSL setup previously? Can you hit it externally using IP address? How about HTTP vs HTTPS by IP? Cheers!
Hi Joshua. Yes, we had SSL setup previously. Good thing I made a snapshot first, so I was able to roll it back. But now I am wondering when I do the upgrade again what I should be looking for or changing out after the upgrade?

Hi Lyle,
That partially depends on how you upgrade. Review Atlassian's Running Confluence over SSL or HTTPS page for guidance. You may not need to perform every step and probably want to go through the guide on your current setup to identify which modifications were made. It's also important to only copy the modifications to the new files and not replace the whole files with the old ones. Cheers!
