Hi,

with new pages (created in 7.2) no troubles with special chars in page titles.

Old pages (existed before migration) with e. g. '[', ']' in page titels are shown in menues and search, index but cannot be opened. Renaming of pages via database didn't work.

https://confluence.atlassian.com/confkb/unable-to-view-page-due-to-invalid-page-title-261752448.html

New titles are shown in menues and search index, but still are not accessible.

Adding special chars to old page (existed before migration) titles results in an http Error 400 - bad request (java.lang.IllegalArgumentExcepton: Invalid character found in the request target. The valid characters are defined in RFC 7230 and RFC 3986). Afterwards the page is shown in menues and search index, but is not accessible anymore.

Thanks for your help!
Jörg.

Dropping nginx as reverse proxy solved the problem.
