After installing the Scroll Versions plugin, I tried to add a navigation bar following the instructions outlined on this page: http://www.k15t.com/display/VSN/Adding+a+Search+Box+to+the+Navigation+Sidebar
However, once having completed the instructions, I encountered an error messsage saying: "The selected root page could not be found." Refer to the following screenshot:
I've tried different locations for the _SvNavigation page using the Hierarchy; for example, putting the page as a child page of the home page, but with no luck. I'm not sure what's causing the problem, so any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
I am currently using Confluence 4.3.3, with Scroll Versions plugin version 2.0 (evaluation license).
Hi Ana,
I think the issue is related to the content of _SvNavigation. Have you added the sv pagetree macro? If so, which root page did you specify in the wiki markup code (Make sure the page actually exists)?
If this issue persists, please send the storage format and/or a screenshot to support@k15t.com to open a support request.
Btw: _SvNavigation can be located anywhere in a space. It will be looked up by the name.
Hope this helps,
-Stefan
Apologies, it seems that I can't attach the screenshot that I mentioned, but basically, the screenshot is showing the left hand navigation pane, with a search box available on top. However, the search box has the described error above it. Typing anything into the search box does not make the "Search" button available, and the button remains grayed out.
The pages in the navigation pane are as follows (all pages are on the same level in the page hierarchy):
