Adding multiple external gadgets to a page

I'm trying to add multiple external gadgets from Jira Dashboard, to a page, but it will only allow one per page, but will then allow other in-built gadgets to accompany it, but not an additional external gadget?

Is this a bug or a page / template restriction on pages?
