Hello, NOOB here. I have a cloud instance of Confluence that I use for myself and a couple friends for engineering. I used draw.io in the past and love it so I wanted to add it to my instance. I opted for the 30 day free trial and it shows up under my instance under setting / Atlassian marketplace. I have never done any admin for Confluence in the past so I know nothing about setting up add ons. I really want the ability of using draw.io pretty nearly the same you would get if you go to draw.io but imbedded in my confluence so I do not have to hassle with using draw.io and not having it imbedded.
TL;DR is there a step by step for setting up draw.io for beginners to confluence?
I have scoured google and Atlassian help and am coming up empty handed.
Hi Jacob,
I have already responded to the ticket you sent to support@draw.io but will answer here just in case.
If you are running an evaluation of draw.io (free trial), you should be able to see it under
Settings > Manage apps. Is draw.io listed there?
If it is, after 30 days of evaluation, you will automatically move onto a paid subscription. The fee will be automatically added to your existing Atlassian invoice (Atlassian are technically the seller) with the same payment duration (monthly or yearly).
You can find the pricing for draw.io for Confluence Cloud on the Atlassian Marketplace listing.
P.S if you haven't installed draw.io yet, my suggestion would be to take a look at:
If you have additional questions, feel free to ask everything that is giving you a headache and we will go through the process together.
Kind regards,
Marija

I replied to your email. I did what you recommended above but it is not showing under my macro list. I cannot tell if there is further configuration for this to work.

so I added another user and he is able to access it and I made him a site admin. I then made another user for myself to access the tool until this is sorted out and that other user also does not work. I am REALLY confused and defiantly need some assistance. I have tried multiple computers and browsers. Please help me.

Hi,
I recorded a video and attached it to the ticket you sent us to support@draw.io
Basically, there are 3 ways to add draw.io macro:
1. click Edit page pencil, click "+" and draw.io should be listed
2. if it is not on the main list, click "Other macros" and find draw.io
3. use a curly bracket and type draw.io

I do not think you are understanding me. I know how it should work, I attached and sent you screen shots in my last email, please look at those. The Macro IS NOT THERE LIKE IT SHOULD BE. I am getting very frustrated with this and the level of support for this. The tool is broken in my instance.

Hi Jacob,
We're trying to assist you as best we can, please bear with us. We need to work out why your instance specifically isn't working and the other 15,000 installs aren't having any problems.
Is it possible to share a video of what you see with us, in the ticket if that's better?
Thanks,
David
