Adding auto generated sequence to a confluence page

How can I add an auto generated numbering to my confluence page. Eg. If i have a column name Reference No : REF-001 for the first report created. When I create another of such custom report, I want the Reference No column to have : REF-002 and continue like that.

Is this possible in confluence without using a 3rd party tool? If yes please possibly explain step by step

This isn't an out of the box feature for Confluence and I'm not aware of any off the shelf apps that will do this for you in Confluence Cloud. However, it could be built as a custom app.
