Adding access to the page for Group vs Adding the Group to the Confluence

I think am getting it right but it would be great to hear it from you guys.

By adding access to some pages I am giving the access simply to the page. Kindly see the screen: 

Meanwhile adding the same "QA" Group here:

I am configuring the permissions to the Confluence in general. Is it so?

Kindly help me with it.

Hi @[deleted] 

In the second pic, you are granting that group access to the space.

In the first pic shot you are restricting that page to view only for the qa group.

Space permissions is where to grant permissions.  In the page restriction, you are removing permissions.
