Adding a drop down menu to the Logo / Site Title in the menu bar?

Anyone know how I would go about adding a drop down menu when you hover over (or click) the logo/site title in the top left corner?

I thought I had read something days ago where you could copy/paste some code somewhere to add a drop down there that listed the Dashboard. I've been unable to find it again.

A click on the log takes you to the dashboard already.  Changing the icon into a menu requires coding in the core of Confluence.
