Adding Dropdown and Editable Field Types in Confluence Pages/template

I am currently using Confluence for a project and have created a space with several templates. In one of these templates, I need to incorporate a dropdown field and another editable field type. We have successfully used custom fields in Jira, but I'm unsure how to achieve this in a Confluence page or template. Can you suggest any plugins or alternative methods to accomplish this?

Hi @Tharunkumar B ,

in a confluence template you need to setup a variable. More information are available at the following page https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/create-a-template-296093779.html#CreateaTemplate-Templatevariables

Hope this helps,

Fabio

In Jira there is concept of custom field, in confluence, that is a wiki and not an issue tracker, you can use variables in your page template.

User macros are your friend here. You can create what you need to have pull-down menus and the like. i wrote an article sometime back that can give you some idea of what is possible and get you started on your adventure. ;-)

I have taken and used user macros to set field values inside a page properties macro which can then feed a page properties report macro.
