Added to administrators but why do I keep getting access denied?

Added to administrators but why do I keep getting access denied?

I was added to the admin group and I am getting access denied when trying to access the admin page. I had another admin remove and re-add me to the group. Still getting the same error. Is there a time frame before admin access is granted?

You should get access right away.

Can you please specify if you're on Cloud or on Server?

Hi Safee,

Thanks for the info. Can you make sure they add you to the site-admins group? This is the only group granting you permissions to the Site Administration, including User Management.
