Currently in the Confluence editor, to redo a change you can use the Windows standard Ctrl+Y but this is not universal. On Unix-like systems this is (IMO more logically) Ctrl+Shift+Z in complement to the undo keyboard shortcut Ctrl+Z.

Please also support Ctrl+Shift+Z to redo a change.

Hi @Arno Igne

This is a public forum that handles the problems that the members of the community have, not the feature request bullet-in board.

For all feature requests refer to this link: https://jira.atlassian.com/secure/BrowseProjects.jspa

Hi Nikola,

I see now. But this is where the slop machine sent me to to ask for a feature request.

Just to add to what Nikola said... I use shortcuts a lot, so I know the struggle. Back in 2025, they also announced that shortcuts would change to universal mode (per this doc). People discussed it here. 👀

Ideally, we would have an option to customize shortcuts (per user), and there's an open feature request for it: CONFCLOUD-74778: Change keyboard shortcuts in Confluence Cloud > but it's not highly voted, so I don't think that will be high on the backlog priority list 🫤

Cheers,
Tobi
