Add post-it style notes to Confluence page

Spanner Spencer August 3, 2022

Is there a macro (or any method, really) to add post-it style notes to a Confluence page, that doesn't require people to edit the page to add them?

I'm setting up some pages with a lot of info, and want a way for people to post ideas, suggestions and issues quickly and easily in one of the sidebars. Just somewhere that anyone on the team can quickly add a thought/note from the "front end" of the page.

I'd wondered if embedding a Trello board with just one column might work, but you can't add new items from the Confluence page.

Any suggestions appreciated!

Hi there

Not the exact behaviour you wanted, but what about inline comments

Regards, Dominic

Yeah, ideally it'd be in its own macro really, and something that people can leave comments on (rather than being a comment itself). Plus, the list of notes is likely (hopefully) going to be quite long, so I don't think the comments function is quite what we need. Thanks though.

Okay, I'm pretty sure, there is no "post-it" style possibilty.

Because of these notes, the inline comments are made.

I suspected as much, but thought I'd ask to be sure. Thanks!
