Add an Image and a short description to a Wiki Page and get the two properties using REST API

I would like to add two properties to a WIKI page:
1. Image
2. A Short description.
Using the rest API, I would like to retrieve content for these 2 properties.
These properties should serve as metadata for a page and should come when we make the following API call:
/rest/api/content/search?start=0&limit=8&cql=space=%7bSPACEKEY%7d+and+label=featured+and+type=%22page%22+order+by+lastmodified+desc
