Add Link to an Shared Folder in Network

Hello,

i cant add an link to an shared folder in our Network.

The link Highlights in Blue but no new Tab is opened.

I tried this:

Web-Link : file:///K:/

Markdown, HTML Macro,

[file|file:///K:/]

nothing works.

Current Version: Confluence 6.15.6

FF 60.8.0esr (64-Bit)

& Microsoft Edge 44.17763.1.0

Hi,

this might not be possible without a browser addon. We did some experiments with opening file:// URLs. Due to security concerns modern browsers do not allow opening local (file) URLs when embedded into a page served via http/https.

Think about setting up a webserver to serve the contents of K:

I forgot: You will run into different implementations for different browsers.
