Today at work we are having an issue trying to find a way to filter in labels within basic search. Whenever we search the recent results are selected through recent pages and blogs. So for example if I type, "meeting-notes", it wont show the label results but just the recent pages and blogs results. I am trying to find a way to have the label filter added to the basic search. The reason behind this is that we are trying to improve the process of how are users navigate through Confluence so we are creating a taxonomy of labels.
Sorry, there is no out of the box functionality in Cloud that we allow you to influence that aspect of the search experience for users or ability to swap out the default search experience for your own.
However, for example, if you type:
labelText:(meeting-notes)
into the basic search, this will help improve results.
However, have you looked at the Livesearch Macro?
