Activity Stream gadget not loading up when access confluence from another computer on the same LAN

I have an activity stream gadget on my page, it's working perfectly when access confluence from the host locally.

However, when I access the wiki page from another computer in the same LAN, the activity stream is not loading up with the following error message:

This web page is not available

Google Chrome's connection attempt to localhost was rejected. The website may be down or your network may not be properly configured.

Here are some suggestions:

Reload this web page later.

Check your Internet connection. Reboot any routers, modems or other network devices that you may be using.

Add Google Chrome as a permitted programme in your firewall or antivirus software's settings. If it is already a permitted programme, try deleting it from the list of permitted programmes and adding it again.

If you use a proxy server, check your proxy settings or contact your network administrator to make sure that the proxy server is working. If you don't believe you should be using a proxy server, adjust your proxy settings: Go to the spanner menu > Settings > + Show advanced settings > Change proxy settings... > LAN Settings and deselect the "Use a proxy server for your LAN" checkbox.

Error 102 (net::ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED): The server refused the connection.

It seems that confluence is trying to fetch the contents from the local client computer rather than the server that's running Confluence.

Please kindly help. Any suggestion is appreciated.

Make sure you have configured your Confluence Base URL correctly - https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/DOC/Configuring+the+Server+Base+URL
