Dear Atlassian Team, dear community Experts

I have accidentally saved a template over an unpublished draft.

Even if the popup asking for the ok to go ahead appeared, in a quick decisionmaking second I clicked yes and the data filled in the initial page dissapeared/was overwritten..... only the title remained....

Is there a  way to retrieve this draft from any cached server log?

Would appreciate an update asap.

My best!

Horea

Uh @Horea Pop ,

I think you won't be able to retrieve that info/content. :/

We had a similar scenario a year or so ago and Atlassian has informed us that this isn't possible as there isn't a page history before the initial draft was published.

You can try to reach out to Atlassian Support if maybe they could retrieve this, but I wouldn't be that optimistic 👀

A suggestion for the future would maybe be to use Live docs instead classic draft/publish page(s). 🤔

Cheers (and good luck),
Tobi

Thanks Tobi,

appreciate you answering!

Had really hoped they have some kind of cache somewhere....however probably their solution doesn't have such a requirement implemented.

Indeed, it's best to work on external Docs first...I had to learn it the hard way., one day's worth of work gone.....

All my best,

Horea
