Update work items from Smart Link list view!

Hello everyone,

We are thrilled to announce a significant enhancement to the Smart Link list view that will streamline your workflow even further!

In a recent update, we made it possible to [rewrite the description or summary of Jira work items] directly in Confluence from Smart Link list view. We are now introducing the ability to update the priority, status, and assignee of your work items with lesser effort.

What’s new?

  • Update the priority: You can now easily adjust the priority of your tasks to reflect their urgency and importance right from the list view.

  • Change the status: Keep your team informed by updating the status of your work items without navigating away from the Confluence page.

  • Assign tasks: Quickly assign tasks to team members, ensuring that everyone knows their responsibilities at a glance.

Why this matters

These updates are designed to enhance your productivity by reducing the number of steps and time spent navigating through different screens or windows. With these new enhancements, you can manage your work items more efficiently, ensuring that your projects stay on track and your team remains aligned.

How to use

To take advantage of these new features, simply navigate to your Smart Link list view, select the work item you wish to update, and make the necessary changes to the priority, status, or assignee directly from the interface. It’s that simple!

We believe these enhancements will significantly improve your experience with Jira and Confluence, helping you manage your projects more effectively. As always, we welcome your feedback and suggestions for future improvements.
