The Hidden Feature of Confluence (Page Properties Alternative)

While I was searching through Confluence trying to look for a better alternative to the slow, painful and out dated page property widget, my search was answered. I'm not sure others know about this hidden feature but I thought I would share this with an article. 

Why is there nothing online about lists?

You can use the search engine to filter results and copy the link across to a new Confluence page to convert the link into a list:

 

From there you can edit the table to include some additional columns:

When you save the page, the results load up instantly.

The limitations I see are that we can't add customized columns that are not part of the search—which is a feature of the Page property report. The second limitation, which is both in this solution and the page property report, is that we can't change the order of presentation by using the columns—arranging from new to old, ABC according to space, etc. and there isn't an option to further filter according to the column.
