Confluence is getting a visual refresh

This experience is now inconsistent with what we see in Jira. Many confluence users utilize Jira as well. I much prefer the old design, especially for labels and statuses. The new design is harder to consume at a glance and I keep thinking something is broken, which suggests some finer polishing is needed on a UX perspective.

@Laura Mehrkens Jira seems to have inherited some of the label formatting inconsistencies we saw previously in Confluence. It would be great if this could be updated, as it can confuse our own team, but also our external auditors 🙏

Just give us back the ability to put CSS into our spaces in Confluence Cloud.

Your decisions on formatting, text, headings etc are not our decisions. 

You've removed an essential way of us being able to style our pages for clarity and ease of use for us.

The side bar changes are very bad for us. You've added a bunch of fluff items at the top that used to be in a drop down or two in the top header bar. 

The added items in the left bar distract from the content navigation of our spaces.

Of course if we could CHOOSE where those items go in the left bar, that would be better. But we can't. 

Those items are rarely used, so why are they front and center? 

Put them back in the header. There's plenty of room once you shrink the comically huge search bar.

We migrated from Confluence on-prem to Confluence Cloud a few months ago. From a usability perspective, I really want to go back to the on-prem version, as the Cloud user experience is significantly worse. From a typography perspective, it's much harder to read pages in Cloud. The lettering is so fuzzy on high-resolution monitors. The table of contents is also an unnecessarily large font size, with no configuration mechanism to reduce it. Tables take a very long time to get used to, and for some very wide tables, it's actually impossible to scroll to the right-hand side of the table in View or Edit mode to view or edit the content. Sorry, it needs further improvement.
