Entering or changing dates

Whenever you click into a date field the following window pops up, so adding or editing a date is impossible

When you want to add a date far in the past it involves a lot of clicks. So I changed the type of the date fields back to text to be able to add/edit dates a lot faster.

Hi, if you have a Date field, you can also enter a date by typing it in the YYYY-MM-DD format, I do it this way for old dates to avoid the many clicks in the calendar popup.

You could also type in the word "today", it will also auto convert it to the current day.

You are right! You can enter the date by typing in the YYYY-MM-DD format. Problem is the popup window covers the underlying field when the window cannot be displayed below the field you want to edit. In that case you do not see what you are typing.

Thanks for the feedback! It is tricky to add dates today, and it's on our roadmap to fix this
